myCAV

You must use our myCAV online system to update your licence details. To start using myCAV, you will need to create your own myCAV account, using a personal email address to verify your identity and sign in to your account. If you already have a myCAV account, sign in to your account to update your licence details.

When to update your licence details

You must notify the Business Licensing Authority (BLA) within 14 days of any changes to:

Individuals

  • your name
  • residential or postal address
  • contact telephone number
  • website address
  • ABN
  • trading name
  • principal office address
  • branch office or manager
  • working arrangements
  • licensed conveyancer employees
  • licensed business partners
  • professional indemnity insurance cover
  • nomination of a short term manager of a principal or branch office, if the licensee is absent for more than seven days
  • you become disqualified to continue to hold a licence.

Companies

  • company name
  • ACN or ABN
  • business name and address
  • postal address
  • principal office address
  • contact telephone number
  • email address
  • website address
  • trading name
  • directors
  • name and residential address of each director
  • the company ceases to have at least one director who holds a current conveyancer's licence
  • branch office address or manager
  • names of any licensed conveyancers employed in the business
  • nomination of a short term manager of a principal or branch office, if the licensee is absent for more than seven days
  • the company or any of its directors become disqualified to hold or continue to hold a licence.
