An unlicensed motor car trader has been placed on a court diversion program in relation to three charges under the Motor Car Traders Act 1986.
Johann Heinrich Preller, of Heatherton, appeared in Dandenong Magistrate’s Court on charges of operating as an unlicensed motor car trader by offering to sell four or more motorcycles during three separate periods, between 2008 and 2010.
Mr Preller was offered and accepted a court diversion program on the charges.
The diversion program, to be completed by 20 June next year, is conditional on Mr Preller paying any net profit from the sale of motorcycles relating to the charges to the Motor Car Traders Guarantee Fund.
