Car trader Comande Auto Gallery Pty Ltd has been fined $1200 after Consumer Affairs Victoria prosecuted the company for breaching the Motor Car Traders Act 1986.
Comande Auto Gallery pleaded guilty in Broadmeadows Magistrate’s Court on 4 May to the offence of failing to cancel a security interest of a car sold.
The court fined the company $1200, without conviction and also ordered it pay $770 costs.
